Conditions We Treat

Macular Degeneration

We will provide you with the latest and most advanced treatment for dry and wet macular degeneration, including pharmaceutical and surgical interventions, including 360 degree macular rotation in select cases.

Macular Disease

We specialize in diseases involving the center of the retina. We also have state of the art equipment to image your macula. These conditions, such as macular holes, macular pucker and vitreo-macular degeneration, can severely affect central vision but are often amenable to surgical and in some cases, non surgical management.

Retinal Tears and Detachments

We can often fix these potentially blinding conditions in the office but also have ready access to several operating rooms as needed.

Diabetic Retinopathy and other Vascular Diseases

With extensive experience in surgical, laser, and medical treatment for diabetic retinopathy and other vascular diseases, you can be assured that all treatment options will be available to you. We will work closely with your medical doctor to optimize your diabetic control and prevent complications of retinopathy.

Uveitis

Drs. Dhindsa and Fuller have experience in treating a wide range of uveitis (ocular inflammation). We also often work in concert with the former president of the American Uveitis Society, Dr. Albert Vitale at the Moran Eye Institute, for indicated cases.

Inherited Retinal Disease

Drs. Dhindsa and Fuller have worked in geographic regions with a plethora of genetic conditions and will update you on the latest treatment and trials depending on your condition. These conditions can also have secondary complications which we will manage.

Lens Surgery

Northern Nevada has many excellent cataract surgeons. However should there be a need for advanced techniques to remove your natural lens or place an intraocular lens implant, Drs. Dhindsa and Fuller can take care of this for you.

Patient Testimonials

“I have been seeing Dr. Dhindsa as a patient since 2006 and have been very happy with his care of my eyes. He has always shown great interest in my problems and the fact I can still see is a tribute to his skills. I have met few doctors who have as good a “bedside manner” or patient-doctor relationship as does Dr. Dhindsa. I only wish some of my other doctors were as good. I give the highest recommendation to anyone needing the services of a truly great retinal specialist to use Dr. Hardeep Dhindsa as your doctor.”

— Patient NM

“Dr. Dhindsa is an extremely skilled and gifted surgeon and also a very caring and compassionate person. He donates his talent and operates on many people in poor countries throughout the world, who would not otherwise have their sight repaired. I would recommend him to anyone.”

— Patient MP

“Experiencing a retina tear is scary. I went to my cataract surgeon with the problem and was immediately sent to Dr. Dhindsa. Even though it was Friday noon and the weekend was almost there, within three hours I was admitted to Renown Hospital and he repaired my eye. I went home that evening. My eye healed beautifully. Dr. Dhindsa followed up with check-ups and was always available for questions or concerns.”
